• Insider says Nakaz is opposed to rising oil prices

LONDON: Issues and solutions discussed during a high-level meeting between PML-N leaders, including the prime minister, and party leader Naaz Sharif in London over the next two days will be presented to government officials before reaching a final decision, with the government. will take the people of Pakistan to the fore in the next 48 hours, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said on Friday.

“Until everything [our allies] “We will not be able to reach a final decision,” Mr Asif told reporters in London and Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique.

The leaders of the PML-N have remained steadfast about the major decisions taken at the meetings and spoke only to the media in a vague manner.

However, a source present at the meeting said It was morning Friday if PML-N faces a tough choice: raise fuel prices or transfer cables to interim set-up. Although many at the party agree that rising petrol prices are the only way forward, a source said Nawaz Sharif was opposed to the idea. In this case, the previous election was the only possibility, the source added.

Program: For PML-N, it’s time to lead or get out of the way

Khawaja Asif emphasized that whatever was discussed in London would be presented to all stakeholders. “We are a unit. We cannot make decisions on our own. Because the reins are not only in the PML-N, but also in the Peoples Party, JUI-F, BNP-Mengal, BAP, MQM and other parties, ”he said, referring to the major coalition parties that formed the government last month. former prime minister Imran Khan was ousted by a vote of no confidence.

He rejected the notion that the government was under pressure. “If there is any pressure, it could be coming from the people of Pakistan. They have a right. They are the last rulers in terms of the Constitution and the law,” he said.

“We and our allies will put our case before the people of Pakistan … [and take them] in the next 48 hours, ”said the defense minister.

Commenting on the event, Railway Minister Saad Rafique rejected the notion that the ruling government was “wrong”, adding that “it will soon see us play in the forefront”.

He said Imran Khan and his supporters would not be allowed to spread unrest in Pakistan. “This is very clear, and how it is done will be revealed in a few days.”

He said the PML-N leaders had long sessions with Nawaz Sharif, including the country’s economic situation, and discussed in detail the “wounds” and “economic crisis” Imran Khan had caused the Pakistani people, and suggested solutions.

“We also talked about how the country and the nation were divided,” he said. Imran Khan “continued to play the card of religion, after which the card of corruption even when both of them failed [to achieve the desired results], began playing the card of the traitor. This is not right. ”

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to return to the country on Saturday (today).
