How to check laptop generation in windows

The process to find the generation of a Windows Operating Laptop is very easy. Just follow these steps

  1. Click on the Windows Key on the Keyboard.

2. Right-click on the Computer Option in Windows Tab. An Option will appear saying “Properties”. Click on the Properties Option.

3. The first number that appears after the processor name is the generation of your computer. It will appear along with the letter “M”. Just as shown in the following picture. My Laptop’s Generation is 3rd so The number is “M 350”.

Use the following command to find the generation of your Laptop with the Linux Operating system

Lscpu | grep “Model name”
